We are delighted to announce a return to Ashton Court in Bristol in 2022!
Set in beautiful grounds covering 850 of woodland and grassland, Ashton Court is within easy reach by public transport for this 2-day weekend workshop.
One highlight from last year that comes to mind is sitting back in the long grass and witnessing a flock of swifts drifting back and forth over head on one of the hottest weekends of the year last June.

From the meeting point at the Church Lodge entrance to Ashton Court, we’ll head into the park. After introductions and sense-tuning, we’ll spend the time exploring our relationship to place through sensing, moving and reflection. Please have a look at the What To Expect page for more information on the general format of a Kinship Workshop.

ACCESS: We’ll meet each day at the Church Lodge entrance of Ashton Court.
The meeting point is about a 3 minute walk from the bus stop Angel Inn (buses X7, X9) in Long Ashton. There is also a carpark at the Church Lodge entrance and limited on-street parking in Long Ashton. Once inside the park, we’ll be using tarmac, gravel and earth tracks as well as going off track altogether. We will hike between sites at an easy pace walking up to about 20-30 minutes at a time. The grounds have many small hills and valleys.
There are public toilets located at Ashton Court Mansion, some 20 minutes walk from where we will be walking. In the rest of the grounds and woods there are no extra facilities.

LIMITED PLACES AVAILABLE
SCHEDULE: 10am-5pm each day Saturday and Sunday
WORKSHOP FEE: This is a 2-day workshop with a tiered fee based on annual income. Please add the appropriate Price Category code to the BOOKING FORM from the table below.
