KINSHIP WORKSHOP 2024 PROGRAMME

We are pleased to announce this year’s programme of workshops…

As we shared in last year’s round-up and review, 2024 will be a smaller programme. This is partly to take a rest after 6 years of workshops, and partly to give us time to explore other projects… one of which includes a nature and wellbeing programme that grew out of our Cultural Reforesting residency at Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham last year. This year we will run a 10-week Nature-centred Wellbeing Programme with members of staff at Richmond and Wandsworth Council starting at the end of April.

Both Katye and I have found new homes this year: I moved to the Isle of Bute at the end of January and Katye to Hebden Bridge at the end of March. This will be the first time for me to invite Kinship Workshop to where I live and we are both excited to introduce these new places and landscapes to you this year.

And also fast approaching is a series of curated online conversations: EcoSomatics Conversation Series run by Royal Birmingham Conservatoire/ Birmingham City University. We will be speaking with Geotherapist Ruth Allen in a conversation titled Troubling the expert(ise) and Homing our practice on 25th April, 4-5.30pm (UK). Tickets FREE!
