Just over the river from Dundee where I was living and working in 2015/16, is Tentsmuir Forest just next to Tayport town. The National Nature Reserve at the tip of Fife, includes some diverse landscapes from the ever changing sandy beaches to the dense pine forest covered with lashings of lichen and moss. Inhabitants include grazing highland cattle, sun-basking grey seals, red squirrels, amphibians and wading birds. The beach is starkly beautiful with a Milky Way of broken shells distributed through the dark sand, and the forest is almost cosy carpeted with the thickest, springiest moss.
Photos below from a day in March 2016 with my friend Petra.
I’m hopeful there will be a Kinship Workshop here in 2018… watch this space 🙂
