image description: A group of 6 humans stand in the thick white foam of a receding wave on a Cornish beach. The sky above is painted with grey cloud set against the brilliant white of frothy waves coming and going. The bare-legged group stand clothed in various combinations of swimming costumes and coats, looking out to the grey/ blue sea extending to the horizon in front of them, and a layered rocky cliff behind them.
We are thrilled to be returning to the West side of the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall where there are an amazing series of distinctive coves and beaches that meet with the clear Cornish waters of the Celtic Sea. We will spend our time in coves and beaches with ancient rock formations, seascapes and coastal grasslands. Please have a look at the What To Expect page for more information on the general format of a Kinship Workshop.
This is a 3.5 day workshop running from Thursday evening (arrival day) to Sunday (departure at 4pm).
ACCESS: With a possibility to stay either at a local campsite or more independently in private accommodation, we will meet each day and walk the 30-45 minute path to the coast from which we will visit various coastal sites.
Throughout the workshop, we’ll be using uneven gravel and earth tracks as well as going off track completely. We will hike between sites walking up to about 50 minutes at a time.
