Duration: 1 DAY | Location: EPPING FOREST | Price: ยฃ60-ยฃ100
This one day workshop explores supportive somatic frameworks to deepen connections to body, landscape and each other, with simple grounding tools for everyday practice.
Overview:
In the welcoming and holding capacity of Epping Forest, amongst the ancient beech woodland, this day-long workshop will offer a gently guided series of activities and practices that focus on supporting nervous system responses to being in relationship with oneโs body, nature and one another. Katye and Chand, collaborating in this way for the first time, will offer their deepening understanding of how time outside can increase the potential for sustained, whole self regulation and settlingโฆ a kind of coming home to oneself.
Highlights:
- Spending time amongst the ancient beech woodland of Epping Forest with simple grounding and connecting activities.
- Awakening sensory attention as a way to feel safer in connection.
- Gentle movement practices to mobilise the body and increase a sense of all of oneself self being โhere and presentโ.
You will need:
See the What to Bring section for a basic overview of what to bring. This is important so that you have everything you need to feel comfortable and prepared for a day in the forest (the workshop will go ahead, whatever the weather)
